The definition of assisted living is providing
a homelike environment that encourages independence, individuality,
and treats individuals with dignity. We will promote independence,
personal excellence, supportive services, and dignity at every level
of the organization. We will achieve this mission by:
Providing a home like environment for residents,
resident's family members, guest and staff. Each building will
model a home.
Providing a de-institutionalized approach to
healthcare in each building.
Treating individuals like we would like to be
treated.
Follow through with promises.
Be proactive with resident care.
Show interest and empathy.
Express appreciation.

The Gibraltar Senior Living Difference:
24
hour specially trained staff to meet the needs of dementia
residents.
Dementia
residents are not separated from other residents via a
"wing".
A
smaller, more intimate living environment with strategically
located common areas, similar to a single story home.
No
long hallways with rooms off the main hallway.
Activities:
Children are integrated into the daily interaction
with seniors via the onsite for-profit daycare.
Pet therapy for seniors. It is anticipated
that to the maximum extent practicable, any dogs utilized
in pet therapy will be AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certified,
and preferably Delta Society certified "service animals" (or
otherwise certified as service animals by a similar certifying
organization).
